Teach differently. Teach with purpose.

Teaching is a vocation. At its heart is the desire to inspire young minds, build confidence, and create meaningful progress.

However, many excellent teachers find themselves feeling overworked, undervalued, and constrained by a system that leaves little time for the personalised teaching they know leads to positive outcomes.

At Open Doors Education, we offer another way…

One-to-one tutoring gives you the opportunity to:

  • Provide the individual feedback students rarely receive in busy classrooms;

  • Focus deeply on understanding rather than rushing content;

  • Build confidence, belonging and engagement
    Teach in a way that reflects your professional values;

  • See genuine progress develop over time.

Who we are looking for:

We partner with tutors who are thoughtful, skilled and reflective teachers who:

  • Are qualified educators;

  • Understand inclusive and neurodiverse learning needs;

  • Value wellbeing alongside academic progress;

  • Use fun and creative teaching approaches;

  • Are passionate about helping young people succeed;

  • Build strong professional relationships with families.

We carefully select tutors based on their expertise, professionalism, and ability to adapt teaching to individual learners.

All tutors must be qualified and DBS-checked.
